Classic Chex Party Mix

One-third to one-half small box each (I often use more):

Cheerios
Rice Chex
Corn Chex
Crispix (OK, I added this one, but it's great)
Wheat Chex (less of this one)

Half a bag pretzel sticks

Most of a can of salted peanuts

(optional newfangled additions: sesame stix, garlic bagel chips)

Melt and mix in saucepan:

1 stick butter
1 cup vegetable oil
¾ tsp garlic salt (or powder)
¾ tsp celery salt (and/or onion powder)
1 ½ teaspoon Lowrey’s seasoned salt
2-3 Tbs Worcestershire
1 tsp tabasco (or more, of the new mild green variety)

Bake 1-1/2 hour at 200

Put this into a really big heavy-duty tinfoil turkey pan, and have two of them so you can pour it from one to another every 20 minutes to mix well.  It will make a tremendous noise, and occasional bits will escape, fly all over the top of the stove and bounce onto the floor.  Do not get excited.  That just happens.  Someone will track them all down and eat them.
